Visconti Pens Divine Proportion

Visconti's Divina Proporzione limited edition fountain pen pays homage to Leonardo Da Vinci.

The limited edition fountain pen has been designed around Phi 'the golden ratio' a ratio present in the natural world and said to represent the perfection of nature. The pen body and cap have been designed using Phi to achieve a perfect balance.

The Divina Proporzione has an unusual pentagon section inspired by the 'Pythagoras Star'. The barrel is twisted along it's axis and each corner of the pentagon has an inlaid sterling silver strip giving a striking spiral effect around the pen.

The cap of the Divina Proporzione is released with only a fraction of a turn using Visconti's 'Hood Safe Lock', a precisely engineered locking system, which, secures the cap firmly with a sprung mechanism.

The Divina Proporzione fountain pen is made of celluloid in a deep brown that resembles briar wood.

The filler system is Visconti's new 'Push & Pull Touchdown' system, a unique design making the filling of the pen exceptionally easy. Another nice detail is the engraving of the Fibonacci Sequence in a spiral around the filler piston - only visible when the pen is being filled.

The nib of the Divina Proporzione is elegantly engraved and made from 18-carat, bi-coloured gold.
