Graf von Faber-Castell Pens Pen of the Year 2008

The Graf von Faber-Castell Pen of the Year 2008 returns to Faber-Castell's core manufacturing material - wood.

The Pen of the Year has a barrel of miniature parquet. The distinctive herringbone pattern on the Pen of the Year's barrel is constructed from 84 individual pieces of East Indian Satinwood, also known as Lemonwood. The cap of the Pen of the Year is crowned with a chessboard-faceted Citrine gem stone.

The nib is 18-carat bi-coloured gold nib which is run in by hand and available in fine, medium and broad widths. The cap and fitting's of the Pen of the Year are platinum plated.

Each Graf von Faber-Castell Pen of the Year 2008 is individually numbered and certificated and presented in a wood gift box.
