Visconti Pens Arte Mudejar

Visconti's Arte Mudejar limited edition fountain pen is a tribute to Mudejar - a fusion of the Romanic, Gothic and Renaissance styles produced from 400 years of peaceful coexistence of three religions. Mudejar has roots in Islamic and Hebrew architecture as well as the styles of Christian cathedrals.

The Arte Mudejar pen is created with finely cut scrimshaw engraved ivory resin in the style of Mudejar Art, a method where the intricate design is cut into the resin by hand, when the engraving is complete it is filled with copperplate printing ink and left to dry for at least three days. After drying the excess ink is removed to reveal the beautiful design below.

Visconti's Arte Mudejar is supplied with an 18-carat bi-colour gold nib and is filled using Visconti's double reservoir power filler system.
